Ministry of the Word

Our Sunday morning Ministry of the Word is offered by Pastor Mike Corriero with occasional guest speakers from ministries worldwide.

Agape also provides important midweek Bible Study, Men's Bible Study and Small Groups meeting in various homes. Throughout the year, the church offers special classes on Water Baptism, the Baptism in the Spirit, and Agape Membership as well as occasional New Believers Bible Studies. Ministry training is offered through our "Preparing for the Harvest" School of Ministry, a 2-year intensive study course with hands-on ministry training (by invitation only).

Worship & Prayer

Worship and Praise is a vital part of our services and the individual believer's life. Our Agape Worship Teams minister in our Sunday morning services, outreach services and other events and seminars. Pastor Chip's heart for unity through worship has been evidenced throught the Praise Alive gatherings, an Ithaca-community worship event that has met monthly at First Assembly of God since December 2000.

Agape strongly believes in prayer, and joins together weekly at our "Fanning the Flame" Prayer Meetings for this purpose. The Open Heaven Healing Rooms of Ithaca, NY meets bi-monthly at Agape and offers prayer for healing, restoration and deliverance.

Children's and Youth Ministries

Our weekly service offers Children's Church for the younger members of the body of Christ at Agape. Teens have the opportunity to grow as Christians through the Youth Bible Studies and Special Youth Ministry Events. In addition, our monthly "Treehouse Worship Night" provides an evening of praise & worship for kids and their families.

Outreach Ministries

Members of Agape carry the Gospel through Local Outreach MInistries to Oak Hill Manor, Titus Towers, Reconstruction Home, Lakeside Nursing Center, Lou Goussett Center, Cayuga Addiction Recovery Services, street ministry as well as Short-Term International Missions Trips. The "GOD IS GREATER" TV Ministry brings our Sunday morning Bible teaching to local viewers on Cable Access channel 13. These teachings are also available through our Tape Ministry.

Agape Church encourages fellowship through a wide variety of activities such as Family Outdoor & Indoor Events, Food Fellowships & Dinners, Church Work Days, plus Special Women's Meetings and the monthly Men's Breakfast. The Hospitality Ministry oversees many of these activities as well as reaching out to those in need through our Food Pantry and our annual Christmas Food Basket & Toy Giveaways.
