Join us for this special Christian community "unity" event - 3 hours of worshipping the Lord together in one place. Over 100 area congregations have participated since the Praise Alive’s inception on December of 2000. The Meeting is under the direction of local area church leaders, (aka the Praise Alive Committee). Agape’s own Pastor Chip coordinates and leads the worship service. The meeting is held at 7:00PM on the first Saturday of the month at First Assembly of God, 197 Bostwick Rd, Ithaca, NY.

The purpose of Praise Alive has not changed since 2000. It is profound in implication, yet simple in scope; to provide a opportunity for the Body of Christ in CNY to worship the Lord together in one place.

We believe that the Lord through His Holy Spirit will dwell amongst us as we praise Him in unity. We believe the Lord blesses our Praise Alive times together because it is His pleasure, and His will, for us to both worship Him and come together in His name. And we are earnestly praying that a greater understanding of the purposes and call of God for the greater "Church" of Central NY - the church that we as believers & congregations are all part of - will be revealed as we obey Him in theses things; and that our love and respect for one another will grow as we look together upon our Savior Jesus Christ, the head of this Body.
